Panasonic : Dealer Specific Promotions
Background : Panasonic’s consumer electronics division needed a way to engage current dealers, attract new dealers and provide a resource on the web that would set them apart from their competition with respect to their network cameras and network data products.
Objective : Engage and communicate with current dealers, attract new dealers and create a tool that was easy for Panasonic to update and simple for the end user.
Results : Second Melody developed an interactive micro-site for Panasonic along with a resource CD-Rom that could be used as a handout at tradeshows as well as a direct mail piece. The site and the CD-Rom were ultimately designed to facilitate the marketing process, engaging dealers and providing them with a useful tool. The site is fully updateable by Panasonic using a standard MS Word like editor and includes a custom email marketing tool along with announcement templates created to perfectly match their needs.
The campaign is ongoing, however the feedback has been positive, especially as new dealers as well as prospective dealers opt-in on the website each week and register for upcoming product focused seminars. |
