If you're looking for an excellent resource to inspire you when designing or updating your academic website...look no further. Edustyle.net is a community of designers and marketers specifically focused on the higher-ed marketplace. Here you can see the newest, most innovative, best and brightest that the web has to offer.
Check out edustyle.net whenever you have a couple of minutes - even if you don't work in academia, you will still get a lot of great ideas and inspiration for your next website. And remember, the kids (and their parents) who are seeing these college websites are also looking at your website...and making comparisons. So, it's a good idea to know what's out there!
Oh, and when you visit edustyle.net, you might notice the "Noteworthy" site of Passaic County Community College. That site was done by Second Melody...don't mean to brag...but it's up for an award...as is this site we did for Rutgers for their January Search. The EduStyle Awards will be announced in July at their annual conference so you bet I'll keep you posted on the results.
And if anyone out there is going to be at the conference, let me know. I will be presenting along with Mike Graham (the Creative Director here at 2M) so be sure to stop by and say hello!
